    Rover

The home of unique Rover personalised car prints. Each print comes set in its own A4 black presentation mount in a see-through plastic wallet.

The Rover Company started out as builders of safety bicycles back in 1888 using the Viking longship as its logo; it wasn’t until 1904 that they produced an 8hp four wheeled product that you could call a car. Since then Rover has had a highly chequered history, merging with Standard Triumph in 1967 which in turn became the lumbering giant of British Leyland the following year. After a decade of decline Rover emerged from the BL wreckage in conjunction with Austin to form Austin-Rover with Rover very much the dominant partner, Austin soon being dropped. In 1994 the Rover Group which included Land Rover and now owned by British Aerospace fell into the cluches of BMW who in turn sold it on to the the newly formed MG-Rover for £1 in 2000. The end came in 2005 with the company going into receivership. The Chinese based SAIC group wanted to restart the Rover brand but BMW who own the name refused, so since 2007 Rover now lives on as Roewe.
