Classic Rovers were all about walnut, leather and Wilton carpet. The preserve of royalty and Prime Ministers throughout the 60’s and 70’s they optimised all that the world thought a British car should be like. Alas the later British Leyland models were blighted by an unacceptable build quality and the brand lost its way along with its customer base.  A British tragedy!
